Chronology of cameras Sunpet Industries
This pseudo-panoramic camera is recognizable by its rounded shapes and the visible notch above the viewfinder. The viewfinder is wide to reflect what will be on the negative during framing.
Inside, two covers mask the top and bottom of the negative. The paper print will feature two horizontal black bands that need to be cut.
The construction is entirely plastic. There is no electronics since there is neither flash nor light meter. Film movements are manual.
On most encountered models, an inscription near the lens mentions "Wide Pic." It can be assumed that this is the model's name.
Editions Atlas have often used "nanars" camera as gifts.
